Sun City Golfers Now Eligible for Troon Rewards

The Troon Rewards program is now available at Sun City Hilton Head! Sign up at www.TroonRewards.com and get rewarded for playing golf here at Sun City Hilton Head.

How It Works
Golf Plan Holders: If you’re a Sun City Hilton Head golf plan holder, you earn 22 points each time you play an 18-hole round in the community and 11 points each time you play a 9-hole round in the community. You earn your points on the same day of play. Just show your Troon Rewards Card when you check in at the golf shop to get your points.

Non Golf Plan Holders: If you do not have a Sun City Hilton Head golf plan, you will receive one point per dollar spent at the Sun City Hilton Head community golf courses and pro shops. This includes dollars spent on your greens fee, cart fee and merchandise. You must have at least a $20 minimum purchase to receive points, and points are awarded on pretax dollars. You cannot earn points for golf pass purchases. Just show your Troon Rewards Card when you check in at the golf shop to get your points.

For every 500 points collected, earn a certificate towards a free round of golf at any other Troon Rewards courses; certificates cannot be used at Sun City courses. You can also receive discounts for merchandise at other Troon golf shops based on your rewards point balance.
Click here for a list of Troon golf courses in the United States.

Please keep in mind that each golfer must create their own individual Troon Rewards account. Points cannot be shared among a household. Visit
www.TroonRewards.com to find more information, including frequently asked questions and a full list of program perks.

How To Sign Up
Visit
www.TroonRewards.com and click “Join Troon Rewards.” Fill out the form to complete registration. You will receive a Troon Rewards member number and member card once your sign-up is complete. Write down your member number and print out the Troon Rewards member card so you can bring it with you to the Sun City golf shops.

Clarification
The Troon Rewards link on your Sun City Hilton Head Personal Profile is not yet available. Please bring your Troon Rewards card when you check in at the golf shop to get your points.

Purrysburg Fitness Center Closed for Renovations

The Purrysburg Fitness Center is closed during renovations to the locker rooms. It is suggested, if possible, to use the other fitness centers in the afternoons when there is greater availability for most of the cardio equipment. There will be no orientations at Purrysburg Fitness Center in June.

With the Lakehouse pool closed for cleaning and the Purrysburg Fitness Center renovations underway, for your convenience, the Purrysburg indoor pool hours will be extended daily as listed below effective immediately until construction is complete. Extended hours for the indoor pool are self-use. Please be safe and always swim with a buddy.

Hours for the Indoor Pool and Aerobics Room Only

Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. Staff available 6 a.m.-8 p.m. except for Thursday staff available 6 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. Staff available 7 a.m.-1 p.m.
Sunday 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. Staff available 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

The group water and land exercises classes will continue. The land classes will check-in at the front desk and go directly to the aerobics room as the entire gym will be closed and blocked off.

The water classes will check-in with a staff member at the back pool door closest to the croquet greens. Cash and member charges will be available for class payment at the back pool door. If you plan to pay by credit card, you will need to pay at the front desk, take your receipt and show it to the staff member at the back pool door.

Interval Circuit Training (ICT) will not be available during the renovation. After much discussion, it was not possible to move the sessions. Instead, receive a free group exercise card to attend any of the group exercise classes for free at any location. ICT cards will be activated when the center reopens. ICT trainers will be working as trainers on the floor at the other fitness centers during the times they normally would work the ICT program.

The Purrysburg Indoor Pool will remain open as so many residents rely on that pool. Access the pool through the back doors. See chart above for hours. Restrooms will be available at the Logo Building or the Yemassee Crafts Center, so please plan ahead!
