Share Your Feedback on Sun City Pools

The Board of Directors has formed a task force to re-examine our pool policies. We would like input from all residents so that we have a good understanding of whether these policies are meeting your needs. We have set up an email box for residents to share their experiences. The email is at pools@schhca.com. It’s important for all pool users to voice their opinions. Please include your name, neighborhood and comments.

Purrysburg Fitness Center Renovations Begin Next Month

Renovations to the Purrysburg Fitness Center locker rooms will begin Monday, June 5, with the work estimated to continue for about four weeks. Residents are asked to use the other fitness centers if possible, or try to move their workout sessions to the afternoons when most of the cardio equipment is usually less crowded.

Staff will be on property 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday through Saturday to monitor pool and aerobics classes. The indoor pool will be open from 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Sundays without staff on property. Bring a buddy to be safe!

Group exercise land classes: check in at the front desk and go directly to the aerobics room.

Group exercise water classes: check in at the back pool door closest to the croquet greens, and a staff member will be available to help you. Cash and member charges will be available for payment at the back pool door. If paying by credit card, pay at the front desk and show your receipt to the staff member at the back pool door.

Interval Circuit Training (ICT): will not be available during renovations. After much discussion, it was not possible to move the sessions. Instead, you can receive a free group exercise coupon that will allow you to attend any group exercise class for free at any location. ICT cards will be activated when the center reopens. ICT trainers will be working as trainers on the floor at the other fitness centers during the times they normally would work the ICT program.

Purrysburg Indoor Pool: will remain open and staff will be on site from 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The pool will be open from 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Sundays without staff on property. Access the pool through the back doors. Restrooms will be available at the Logo Building and the Yemassee Crafts Center, so please plan ahead!
