New Pool Rules Take Effect April 1
The Board of Directors will implement changes to the pool policies based on the recommendations of the Pool Task Force, the results from the Pool Survey and resident feedback. These changes take effect Sunday, April 1 and are listed below:

  • No diapers allowed in any pool or spa. Anyone who is incontinent or not fully toilet trained is not permitted in any pool or spa.
  • New children’s hours go into effect for those guests 15 years old and under.
  • Children’s hours will be from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. at the days and locations below:
    • Barataria – Sunday and Thursday (closure alternative: Riverbend)
    • Hidden Cypress – Monday and Friday (closure alternative: Riverbend)
    • Lakehouse (outdoor) – Tuesday and Saturday (closure alternative: Riverbend)
    • Riverbend – Wednesday (closure alternative: Barataria)
  • In addition, from October 1 to March 31, there will be children’s hours from 3–5 p.m. daily at Purrysburg Indoor Pool.

The Resident Host provision remains in effect when children 15 years old and under use a pool. Guests who are 16 years of age or older may use the pool during normal operating hours with a guest ID card, after checking in at the fitness center. Because there is no adjoining fitness center at Riverbend, guests with guest ID cards will need to use the pool accompanied by a resident host.

Any questions about the rules should be directed to
board@schhca.com.
