Residents are invited to this forum hosted by the Government and Business Affairs Committee to hear Beaufort County Schools Superintendent Jeff Moss discuss the school district’s request for a $76 million bond referendum.

Test Drive a GolfBoard
Please stop by Argent Lakes Golf Course and test drive a GolfBoard. The Golf Department is asking for feedback from golfers on their experience playing golf while using the board. They will only be available for demo for a couple of weeks, so come and try one out and “surf the earth!” Click here to learn more about GolfBoards. Golfers must watch an instructional video and sign a waiver before test driving a GolfBoard.

Hole-In-One Reports
Frank Frankel had a hole-in-one at Argent Lakes Golf Course on hole 8 for 83 yards. He used a 7 iron. This event was witnessed by Bob Hoffman, Jon Rielly and Bill Hart.
 
Sally Carretero had a hole-in-one March 10 at Argent Lakes Golf Course on hole 17 for 127 yards. She used a driver. This event was witnessed by Ed Eagan.

Get Out Of Pain Now – Learn the MELT Method
Learn simple self-treatments you can do at home to remain active, healthy and pain-free for life. Join Sun City resident and MELT Instructor Jan Berson to learn how to eliminate stuck stress, chronic aches, pains, and unwanted signs of aging using specialized techniques, a soft body roller and four different balls. All classes meet in Pinckney Hall, Chechessee River Room. Participants must be able to get up and down from the floor without assistance. Bring a yoga mat; all MELT props provided. Learn all about fishing in Sun City’s lagoons at a free seminar hosted by the Fishing & Hunting Club at 9 a.m. Friday, March 16 at Lake Somerset Dock. Experienced Sun City anglers will lead a discussion about what tackle, bait and lures to use for difference game fish. Learn which lagoons are best for fishing.

Sign up for Fifth Annual Neighborhood Golf Challenge
Registration is open for the fifth annual Neighborhood Golf Challenge March 31 at Hidden Cypress Golf Course where neighborhoods will go head-to-head for the title of Best Neighborhood. There will be a double shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. with a $15 entry fee (plus regular golf fees). Registration deadline is March 23. Rainbow of Rhythm: Dance Fever Coming to Magnolia Hall
Mark your calendar for the annual Rainbow of Rhythm show, Dance Fever, featuring all of Sun City’s dance clubs! Performances are at 7 p.m. April 13, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. April 14 in Magnolia Hall.
