John Rathbone

John has performed more than 6,000 shows and has opened for Kenny Rogers, Jerry Seinfeld and Jeff Foxworthy. He talks about everyday topics like family, marriage, health, driving and kids. His show is interactive and he demonstrates great crowd skills that incorporate the audience into the show. 

Rex Havens

A former college professor who made the unusual transition to standup comedy in the ’80s, Rex has always believed that laughter is the best defense against a confusing and challenging world. His take on marriage and family has propelled him to performances in all 50 states and around the world. His observations about the hilarious miscommunications in our personal lives are sure to keep you laughing. Tickets go on sale Monday, December 3. 

Tito Puente, Jr. 
7 p.m. Tuesday, January 8 at Magnolia Hall
Keeping the legacy alive, the son of the Mambo King continues to wow audiences and kicks off the New Year in Sun City for one night only. Tickets are $35, available at Lifestyle Services only (limit four tickets per household). Doors open at 6 p.m.

Cold Spring Harbor Band
Thursday, January 10 at Magnolia Hall
Named after Billy Joel’s first solo album, the band is headed up by lead vocalist/ pianist, Pat Farrell, a six-time Grammy contender and voting member of NARAS (Grammy Awards). Pat recorded his solo album I Got No Place To Be with Billy Joel’s band members Richie Cannata (saxophone), Mark Wood (violin), Ozzie Melendez (trombone) and Barry Danielian (trumpet). The Sun City Dance Series continues with a little bit of rock and a little bit of roll. This Jacksonville-based band takes us back with their high-energy re-creations of vintage rock ‘n’ roll. Tickets, $18, go on sale Monday, December 3. 

Bobby Brooks Wilson
7 p.m. Thursday, January 31 at Magnolia Hall
The son of legendary R & B/soul singer Jackie Wilson makes a one-night-only stop in Sun City. Raised in Hawaii, Bobby grew up playing and singing with Bruno Mars. His uncanny resemblance, voice and moves that were almost identical to his father’s has helped him emerge into a global entertainer with his latest radio releases currently airing in the UK. Tickets are $28, available online and at Lifestyle Services beginning Monday, December 3. Doors open at 6 p.m.
